I ♥ my Mac

I remember using Apple computers in junior high back when floppy disks were big and actually floppy. Some time later I started to notice that everything was microsoft. Where did my macs go? Where did my apple go?

I think it was about the year 2000 when I started hearing about apple computers again. This was good news. I was not sure if they were still in business and if they were still making computers. Well they were making computers but it was their digital music player iPod that really kicked it back in to gear.

So I think that it was in the year 2002 that I bought my Apple PowerBook G4 12" and I have absolutely loved it ever since. I still have my Dell laptop that I have had for a little longer the the PowerBook. The Dell laptop's hard drive has crashed twice. I have had to reformat and reinstall windows XP twice.

Now I just don't put anything on the Dell just to avoid Windows crashing. While I have the "bare bones" XP I still have that annoying update going on almost daily to keep up with the daily viruses created for Windows. The constant battle of Microsoft leaves me too tired to actually use that laptop so I pretty much always use the PowerBook.

I take it everywhere with me. It has never crashed or refused to work. I only recently upgraded the memory so I could install Adobe CS3 and the new OS X Leopard. Before the update everything was working wonderfully and after the update everything is working wonderfully. My PowerBook G4 just works wonderfully. Meanwhile my Windows laptop sits in the corner all lonely...I would use it more if I could just use it and not spend so much time preparing to use it. Anyway I love my mac.
