We had a planned home birth with a comedian midwife and a siren doula. It was a natural childbirth without drugs and it was intense. Since then I have been investigating all things related to birth / breast-feeding and motherhood. I have tried to keep all of my birthy stuff at my birthgeek.com website.
I have been writing this blog since 2007. The look and writing has changed over time as has my life. On August 23rd my blog was hacked so some of the posts are missing photos. I also write for my site in Spanish at kyledugan.es. I have yet to start writing a blog in German. Hoffenlich habe ich nicht alles vergessen. You can view my web design portfolio at kyledugan.net.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and German. During my twenties I lived, worked or studied in the following city/countries;
- Bozeman, MT, USA
- Nashville, TN, USA
- Indianapolis, IN, USA
- Graz, Austria
- Havanna, Cuba
- Calca, Peru
- Oldenberg, Germany
I also spent time in Ireland, Spain, France, Italy, Mexico, Colombia, Bolivia, and Chile. Living in all of these different languages and cultures has greatly shaped who I am today.
